I’m a fitness and nutrition writer and editor, CSCS, NASM CPT, and pre- and postnatal specialist.

Science-based fitness, corrective exercise, and longevity are my sweet spot. But I’ve covered everything from why TikTokers are walking backwards on the treadmill and whether drinking coffee breaks a fast, to why in the world Mark Wahlberg wakes up at 4 a.m. to work out and the best high-protein frozen meals that will *actually* fill you up.

My specialty: Distilling complicated science into practical solutions that help your audience live healthier lives. Here’s a taste:

Brand + Community

As editor at Hone, lead in-house fitness instructor at Sunny, and director of programs at PK Fitness, I’ve had the unique opportunity to lead and encourage communities of people.

Throughout that experience, I’ve gotten to build entire marketing campaigns with the heart of those communities at the very core. Like Hone’s 2022 Veteran’s Day feature, which included unique articles, a newsletter campaign, and workout content. It won a 2022 AHJC award for excellence in healthcare journalism in the public health category (alongside journalism giants New York Times and USA Today).

These pushes can be great for building brand image, while simultaneously being incredibly powerful for bringing communities together. Below, I’ve captured just a few examples of this community-centric style of work:
